I scored a book that is out of print. It is on beard and hair by Jeff Phares. It is hard to get hold of but a new friend from W. VA, sold his to me. I have been very unhappy with my hair and beards. This book helped and the pic I was carving by. That carving in the pic is by Alex Lacasse. Flow, and the three steps that Phares taught, as well as observing Alec’s beards is helping and I am learning. Also some stop cuts with the knife on the beard accents some lows and highs with shadowing.
